Barn in Luray, Virginia

I got to visit this beautiful old barn in Luray last month.
It was on a great old farm with lots to draw. I'm back to my slower drawing style - the One Drawing a Day loose style doesn't seem to be working. I will try some more.

Cracker Bay in St. Michaels

This great, large yacht came and docked in a tight little spot for a while. 

Amazing that I see all kinds of boats here.

This old church became an antiques shop but now may be abandoned. Still lots of stuff there, but no people.

I have been reading a new book: A Drawing a Day by Veronica Lawlor. I am going to try to draw faster and looser and try some pen and ink.

Little Red Schoolhouse

The only one-room schoolhouse remaining in Talbot County. Built ca. 1885.
